Natick Market Update

The first few weeks in March are typically when the "spring" real estate season begins, and there are many predictions that it will be a strong market, a welcome change from the pessimistic reports a year ago and even over the winter.

The first two weeks in March of 2010 had 7 single family home sales in Natick for an average price of $508,700, compared to the past two weeks (March 2011) when 4 homes sold for an average of $517,500.

While it is a small increase, it is significant in supporting that the market did indeed already bottom out, indicating that it could still be an excellent time to buy while prices remain lower than several years ago and interest rates are down. Sellers can also expect more buyers to be looking for a home, especially as the weather continues to improve.
